Assessing Office COVID-19 Response
The Assessing Office is now OPEN to all Customers for pick up or
drop off.  Only one Customer is allowed in at any time.  Please ring
the door bell before entering.  Masks must be worn at all times &
all social distancing practices will be followed.  All lengthier
appointments with the Assessors must be made in advance and will
take place outdoors, onsite, over the phone or via a zoom-type
conference call.

The Assessor's Office serves to provide the taxpayers of Camden,
Maine with fair and equitable valuations of real and personal estate
for tax purposes through effective professionalism, innovative
technology and application of reliable, consistent procedures in
accordance with Maine State Law.  The Assessor's Office is committed
to maintaining positive public relations with courtesy and integrity
and to provide responsible stewardship of public resources.

All property is taxed according to its ownership as of April 1 of each year 
(April 1, 2020 for the 2020/21 tax year)
DUE DATES - October 15, 2020 & April 15, 2021
TAX RATE - .01503
MIL RATE - $15.03
FISCAL YEAR - July 1, 2020 - June 30, 2021
