The Historic Resources Committee consists of five members and two alternates all of whom shall be residents of Camden and appointed by the Select Board. Members shall serve staggered, three-year terms and no member may serve more than two consecutive terms. The Committee meets monthly to review proposed alterations to designated historic properties; to maintain historic records; and to bring awareness to the ongoing effort of preserving the historical and architectural character of Camden
Camden's Historic Home Marker Program Brochure & Application
Residents can recognize and preserve the unique history of their property through the Camden Historic Home Marker Program. By qualifying for one of the three tiers of designation, applicants are awarded a handsome plaque suitable for display that celebrates the home’s age, story, and place in Camden’s history.

Chestnut Street Historic District
