Cost of Services
When you pay your property taxes to the Town of Camden each year, your tax dollars not only pay for Town operations - like snow plowing, streetlights, recreation, cemeteries, library, and emergency services (police & fire) they also go to Knox County, SAD 28/CSD 19; and Midcoast Solid Waste Corporation. The General Fund Budget does not include amounts paid to Knox County, Schools, or Midcoast Solid Waste Corporation.
